International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are Doctors who have an acceptable overseas qualification, regardless of their nationality.

Not applicable to sudents who graduated in the UK, or any nationals of member states of the EEA and Swiss nationals and other doctors with EC rights who graduated in EEA or Swiss medical schools.

About Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ)

If qualified in Antigua, Aruba, Cayman Islands, Commonwealth of Dominica, Guyana, Netherlands Antilles, Philippines, Russia, Samoa, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ukraine, we suggest that you contact the GMC before booking the PLAB test to ensure that your qualification is acceptable.

Are definitely not accepted by the GMC qualifications from Belize, Cook Islands, Liberia, Senegal, Seychelles and St Lucia.
